Mr. Mac began training in 1991 and has been teaching professionally since 2002. He currently holds a 3rd degree black belt in Tang Soo Do, a 1st degree black belt in Sin Moo Hapkido and has experience in Hung Gar Kung Fu. He has a degree in the field of Psychology and is certified as an instructor of Kinesiological Stretching Techniques. He has been a private trainer and mentor to competitors, and has personally trained grand champion cup winners. He has recently received his invitation to attend the Master's Clinic for the World Tang Soo Do Association.
Ms. Patty started her training in 2008 with the objective of learning effective self-defense. She currently holds a 3rd degree black belt in Tang Soo Do and a 1st degree black belt in Sin Moo Hapkido. She has also trained in Hung Gar Kung Fu and Wing Chun. She has trained grand champion cup winners (and won a few of her own). She has earned degrees in fields of Criminal Justice and Psychology. Currently she has been studying Kinesiology and has been certified as an instructor of Kinesiological Stretching Techniques and is a certified Splits Specialist.
We train in a martial art that has been handed down from instructor to student for hundreds of years. We believe in traditional values, and that the act of learning is an end in of itself. The ultimate goal is not to destroy the enemy and win trophies, but to become a better person and carry on the torch of knowledge.
Our internationally certified martial arts instructors are highly proficient martial artists. They have extensive experience in teaching students of all ages and skill levels. Our instructors continue to develop themselves in order to improve the overall quality of their instruction.
We are all one family. Students develop bonds and friendships through the martial arts. The studio becomes a positive environment where peers support one another, and every victory is shared among its members.
The Tigers & Dragons program is for children age 4 through 6. This program is designed to develop strength, balance and coordination while building respect, learning discipline and enhancing focus.
Our youth martial arts program is designed for students from age 7 to 12. These classes will help build confidence, develop self-discipline and increase concentration skills through traditional martial arts training.
Joining our classes for teens and adults is a perfect way to learn self-defense, relieve stress and get in shape - and have fun doing it all! Students will learn a blend of traditional and modern martial arts elements.
Learning to deal with aggressive persons and hostile environments is one of the most important aspects of a martial arts studio. The greatest thing that students gain by training in self-defense is not just being able to protect themselves against an attack, but the latent effects of having the knowledge that they are safe. Learning to defend one's self will enhance a student's self-esteem and self-confidence.
